This course will equip learners with the skills and certainty to move assertively and become a vigilant parent or nanny in identifying a child or toddler in distress and how to do effective CPR, operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) during cardiac arrest, and how to deal with a choking child. The course is explicitly designed for newborns and children up to 5 years of age.
You will be trained by experienced instructors and trainers who are qualified Nurses and professionals who use their First Aid on a regular basis. They are also highly experienced and proficient First Aid trainers.
You will not only receive training; you will receive the best interactive practical training available in a classroom setting with individual attention being given.
Instructors use role-plays with different scenarios during the training and we strive to copy reality as close as possible.

This international qualification would be typically delivered and can be completed to learners through a 1-day training course (6 hours).
Responsibilities of the Pediatric first aider
Assessing an emergency safely
Unresponsive and breathing normally
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
Use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)
Head, neck, and back injuries
External bleeding
Shock
Anaphylaxis
Assessment of a responsive and unresponsive patient
Complete 2 min of CPR on an Adult, Child & Infant
Operate the AED as a lone responder
Assist an Adult, Child & infant chocking
Manage bleeding control
Place a patient in the recovery position
Secure a patient having seizures
Recap questions on the online theoretical part
Learners are required to demonstrate their understanding of the acquired from the class session.
